The Books Have Been Closed
As I look back I would not have traded it for the world. It was a priceless education and a time I will value for the rest of my life. My apprecation goes out to all those who helped make it possible, especially by beautiful wife, Lauri, who has stuck with me the whole way. Not to mention, allowing me to do homework even when there was a great deal to be had at the mall! ;) Lauri, I love you, and could not have done it with out you. Also, my dear parents, this would never had been possible with out you.
The only thing I ask myself now is... what's next? Real world here I come!!

I've been tagged
1. What is his name? Tyler Ross Tyson
2. How long have you been married? about 3 and a half years
6. Who sings better?Me ( but Tyler sings well too. I just took more lessons.)
8. Whose temper is worse? Mine.
12. Who does the cooking?Chik-fil-A and Taco Time.
16. Whose parents do you see the most? Mine, they live closer.
19. Why do you love your husband? He is everything you could ever hope to find in a husband. He works so hard for his family. He is always trying to find ways to help others. He is the most unselfish person I know. He is the most loving husband and father. He always puts his girls first. He is my best friend. He loves me for who I am, and has for quite some time! He goes shopping with me, and only complains maybe 10% of the time. And if you know how much I love shopping, that is really saying something! He is always trying to make others feel good in some way. He's kind, loving, generous, funny, ambitious, understanding, and the list goes on and on! I love how we can be silly together. I don't think there is anybody as silly as we are. Last but not least, he makes me happy. He makes me laugh and smile, and I just love him so much!More than words, babe!
Now I tag Leslie, Maranda, and Heather.

Embarrassing moment
So, yesterday I went to lunch with my good friend Katie and her daughter Hailey. Lunch was great- sticky finger salad at Wingers(one of our favorites). We got done with lunch and headed out to our cars. Emma was playing with my car keys. So as I was buckling Emma in her car seat, I took the keys and threw them on the front seat. I finished buckling her in and shut the door. I went to get in the car, but I had a problem. The door was locked! Emma had pushed the lock button on my keys! I was locked out, and she was locked in! Nobody with a key to my car is less than an hour away. So, I call Katie and tell her my situation, and she told me to call 911. I was hoping there was another way, that I could somehow just call the cops or something. But apparently Katie has had experience with this kind of thing.(not with Hailey) So I call 911 and tell them my situation, and they ask a lot of questions, and get a lot of information. So I was expecting that a cop would come and unlock the door, no big deal. So when the cop car passed, I went out to flag them down, assuming they were looking for us. No sooner than this cop lady got out and started slim-jimming the door, another cop car came, and he started slim-jimming the other door. Soon another cop car was there, and then another(total of 4!). That's not all! Two seconds later the fire department showed up in their big red fire truck, sirens and all! So to make this long story longer, They got the door open in a matter of minutes, Emma was absolutely fine! In fact, she thought the whole thing was kind of funny! (as did Katie!) She kept laughing as I looked in the windows at her, and as the police officers talked to her once they got the door open.
She was probably in there a whole 10 minutes if that. Needless to say, I was a little embarrassed by the whole big production. But its nice to know that the cops act quickly in the case of a real emergency!

Rise and Shout, the Cougars are out!
Last Saturday we got to go to the BYU Game. Tyler's aunt Cherie was going to go, but couldn't, so she gave us her tickets. It was really fun, because Tyler's grandpa is a member of the Cougar Club, and he has really great seats! We were on the second row, and about the 40 or 50 yard line. I couldn't believe how good Emma was. She sat through the whole thing! I thought for sure at some point she would just break down and we'd have to leave, but she saved that for later that night. Anyway, we had a great time, especially since the cougars won! Thanks Grandpa Ord for a fun Saturday. Go Cougs!

Trunk or Treat! Smell my feet!
Yesterday, we went to our first "Trunk or Treat" at a neighborhood park. I must have had the cutest witch there. I am not sure there is much to say about Tyler, come on, be a little more creative! Anyway, it was very fun. We decorated the back of our car and played Halloween music while the little kiddies came around.
Emma was so fascinated with her cauldron! She kept pulling treats out and putting them in the wagon or giving them to her friend Hailey. Then she'd pick them up to put back in her cauldron. Meanwhile, she was snacking on licorice.
"Emma, show us your teeth!"...She is very into showing her teeth
All decked out, even down to her shoes.

Tyler's Birthday
So, Tyler's birthday was September 14. It actually ended up being very low key, as Emma had two ear infections and possible pneumonia. We nixed our plans for the day and stayed home and ordered pizza. But don't feel too bad for Tyler because he got this very fabulous cake!! One of a kind!! Those of you who know Tyler know that he has a thing for Dunford Chocolate donuts. So, for his birthday he got a cake made up of his favorite treat! Happy Birthday Tyler!

Emma's Boo Boo
Emma was so excited to be with dad she was chasing me around the house. I was unloading some things from my truck and she decided to follow me out. Looking back to see that she stopped at the doorway I was sure that she knew to stop as she had done so in the past. Silly me to think that. After not listening to Lauri warn me countless times to watch her, she took a dive out the front door onto the conrete patio, earasing her nose. Needless to say, I could not get over what I had allowed to happen. (And of course what was Lauri going to say when she got home.) The most sweet thing about the whole deal is that after a brief cry she was back to her happy self. She was smiling and playing and I couldn't see how...her face looked terrible, these pictures don't do it justice, they were a few days later...what a sweet baby we have!

Bow Hunt '07
Emma got a new bike trailer for the bow hunt. Mom ended up pulling it more because dad was out of shape...Too many Dunford donuts that summer =)
Emma and Dad about to head out on a 4-wheeler ride!
Success!!....It was hard getting Emma to take her naps with all the fun going on outside. So finally we resorted to going in circles around the campsite on the 4-wheeler till she fell asleep.
Cool Baby!!!!

Tomatoes! I'll give ya $5.00
My Dad would always tease us as kids by saying "I'll give ya 5 bucks if you eat a tomato." Well it is time to pay up.
You be the judge. As for us, you will probably still never see a tomato in the veggie drawer of our fridge. (Or is it a fruit?)
